Skin Script Glycolic and Retinol Pads are leave-on corrective exfoliating pads formulated with glycolic acid, retinol, alpha-arbutin, and kojic acid to improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation, rough texture, and dullness. Skin Script specifically recommends them for hyperpigmentation and acne concerns and describes them as supporting smoother, brighter, more even-looking skin.

WHY I LIKE IT

Because this isn't exfoliation for exfoliation's sake.

You've got glycolic acid working on surface turnover and texture, retinol supporting renewal, and alpha-arbutin + kojic acid bringing actual pigment-focused ingredients into the conversation.

So when we're dealing with the aftermath of breakouts, uneven tone, and texture at the same time, this makes a hell of a lot more sense than simply grabbing the strongest acid available.

HOW TO USE

After cleansing, swipe one pad over clean skin, avoiding the eye area.

Begin 2–3 times per week, gradually increasing frequency as tolerated. Skin Script states that use may eventually increase to daily based on skin tolerance.

Follow with appropriate hydrating products and moisturizer. Use SPF every morning while using this product.

THE SKIN JAWN TIP

These have glycolic acid AND retinol in them. That means they already got the assignment.

You do not need to follow these with your mandelic serum, another exfoliating toner, a scrub, and your separate retinoid because you wanted everybody to participate.

Give the pads their own night.
