Face Reality 5% L-Mandelic Serum is a gentle corrective exfoliating serum designed to improve dullness, uneven tone, and texture while keeping irritation potential lower. The lightweight, water-based formula combines 5% L-mandelic acid with L-lactic acid, plus niacinamide and several humectants for a more balanced approach to exfoliation. Face Reality considers it appropriate for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

WHY I LIKE IT

Because everybody does not need to start at 8%.

The 5% gives us a lower-strength entry point into mandelic exfoliation for skin that needs corrective support but may require a more cautious approach. Mandelic and lactic acids handle the exfoliation, while niacinamide, sodium lactate, sodium PCA, sodium hyaluronate, and urea bring hydration and conditioning support into the formula.

HOW TO USE

Shake well before use. Apply one pump to clean skin that is free of irritation, or use the amount directed by your skincare professional.

Frequency should be based on skin tolerance and the rest of your corrective routine.

Use broad-spectrum SPF every morning while using exfoliating products.
