Dermathod Priming Peel Booster Pads combine PHA and LHA in a slow-releasing, leave-on exfoliating treatment designed to refine uneven texture, clear away surface buildup, improve the look of uneven tone, and leave skin feeling smoother and hydrated. Kin lists them for all skin types, including acne and hyperpigmentation concerns.

WHY I LIKE IT

This is a nice middle ground between doing nothing and reaching for the strongest acid you can find.

Gluconolactone (PHA) provides gentle surface exfoliation with humectant properties, while capryloyl salicylic acid (LHA) provides oil-soluble exfoliation that helps address buildup and congestion. Glycerin, grape seed extract, vitamin E, green tea, and other botanical ingredients round out the formula.

HOW TO USE

After cleansing, thoroughly dry the skin.

Use the embossed side of one pad to gently sweep across the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Flip the pad over and use the smooth side for a final pass.

Do not rinse. Allow the remaining solution to absorb, then follow with your appropriate serums and moisturizer.

Use 1–3 evenings per week, based on skin tolerance.

THE SKIN JAWN TIP

This pad already exfoliates. You do not need to follow it with another exfoliating toner, acid serum, scrub, and whatever else TikTok convinced you belongs in the same routine.

Give the product room to work. Your barrier does not get bonus points for surviving your skincare routine.
